Playback singer Sonu Nigam has sold five adjoining land parcels in Karjat, part of the fast-growing Mumbai 3.0 region, for a combined value of ₹95 lakh.
The latest transactions involve land parcels located in Savele village in Karjat, Maharashtra. Together, the five plots measure around 1.067 hectares and were registered on May 12, 2026. Documents show that a total stamp duty of around ₹5.7 lakh was paid for the deals.
The sales were carried out through multiple transactions involving different buyers. One land parcel measuring 0.21 hectare was purchased by a group of four individuals for ₹20 lakh. Another adjoining plot of 0.215 hectare was bought by two buyers for the same amount.
In a separate deal, a 0.225-hectare parcel was sold to an individual buyer for ₹20 lakh. Another 0.20-hectare plot was acquired by two individuals for ₹17 lakh, while the final parcel measuring 0.217 hectare was sold for ₹18 lakh. The latest sales come just a month after Nigam sold another set of land parcels in Karjat worth ₹1.95 crore. In April 2026, the singer sold more than 1.9 hectares of land through four separate transactions, all registered on April 7.
According to registration documents, one parcel measuring 0.405 hectare was sold for ₹50 lakh, while another 0.718-hectare plot fetched ₹75 lakh. A third parcel of 0.607 hectare was sold for ₹50 lakh, and a smaller 0.208-hectare plot changed hands for ₹20 lakh. The combined stamp duty paid for those transactions stood at ₹11.70 lakh.
Karjat, near Mumbai, has seen rising interest from investors and second-home buyers in recent years due to improved connectivity and infrastructure development linked to the Mumbai 3.0 expansion.
Apart from these land deals, the singer has also been active in Mumbai’s real estate market. Earlier this year, in February 2026, Agam Kumar Nigam purchased a 1,197 sq m property with a residential and commercial structure in Madh Island for ₹10 crore.
In 2025, Sonu Nigam had also leased a commercial property in Santacruz East for five years, with the total rental value exceeding ₹12.61 crore.
