Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam has leased out his premium commercial office near Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) in a deal valued at ₹12.61 crore over five years. The office, measuring around 4,257 sq ft in the Trade Centre building at Santacruz East, begins at a monthly rent of ₹19 lakh, with annual increases pushing the total lease value above ₹12 crore. The registration was completed in December 2025, marking one of the more notable celebrity-led commercial transactions in the area.

The lease structure includes a ₹90 lakh security deposit, along with standard stamp duty and registration charges. Rent will increase gradually every year, touching nearly ₹23 lakh per month by the final year of the agreement. Despite hybrid work models and market shifts, the deal highlights the strong demand for Grade-A commercial spaces around BKC, which continues to be Mumbai’s most sought-after corporate district.
Sonu Nigam’s move reflects a growing trend among high-net-worth individuals and celebrities who are turning to commercial real estate for stable, long-term rental income. In markets like Mumbai, especially around employment hubs such as BKC, Andheri East, and Bandra East, well-located office assets continue to secure strong returns, reinforcing confidence in the city’s commercial real estate outlook.
As Mumbai enters 2026 with increasing commercial activity and corporate expansion, this lease further confirms that premium office spaces in and around BKC remain top choices for tenants seeking connectivity, prestige, and value.
