
Agam Kumar Nigam, father of playback singer Sonu Nigam, has purchased a 1,197 sq m land parcel along with an existing ground-plus-one-floor residential and commercial structure in Madh Island for ₹10 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by real estate analytics firm Liases Foras.
The deal, registered on February 18, 2026, includes a property known as Mango Villa, located within Suchak Cooperative Housing Society Limited in Mumbai’s Madh Island, a locality that has steadily gained traction among high-net-worth individuals seeking privacy and waterfront proximity.
What the deal includes
Documents indicate that the transaction covers land and built-up structures. The property comprises a 2,329 sq ft ground-plus-first-floor IT structure and an additional 725 sq ft residential construction. The total stamp duty paid amounts to ₹50 lakh, with a registration fee of ₹30,000.
The sellers are listed as Swapna Kak and Rani Doshi (Verma), also known as Rani Amar Verma.
