Allegations of cheating have been brought against Ocean Seven Buildtech Pvt Ltd and its promoters in connection with the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). An enforcement directorate has stated that the builder has collected ₹222 crores from prospective purchasers of apartments but then cancelled their booking and re-sold them for more than double the amount of the deposit or cash premium required.
