The northeast (Ishanya) corner is thought to be the most auspicious direction for the puja room. It is believed to align with divine forces and attract positive energies.
The puja room can be situated in the east or north of the house if the northeast is not feasible. Make sure it is not in the southeast or southwest corners.
For maximum spiritual energy, it is ideal for the idols or deities in the puja room to face east and for the person offering the prayers to do so.
Place the idols or images of deities on a clean and well-maintained platform. It is not appropriate to set the idols directly on the ground.
Maintain a clean and well-organized puja room by arranging specific storage for necessary puja items. Keep the area neat and clear of clutter.
