
The rare sea-facing Art Deco bungalow, Leela, in Mumbai’s Juhu has been sold for a staggering ₹221 crore. The heritage property, owned by the Nanavati family known for Nanavati Hospital was acquired by Notandas Realty, part of the Mahesh Notandass Jewellers Group.
Located on Juhu Tara Road, close to the Juhu Beach, this 6BHK Art Deco bungalow was built in the 1950s. It carries a Grade IIB heritage tag, making it historically and architecturally significant.
The bungalow was owned by the Nanavati family, known for Nanavati Hospital, and was sold through a competitive bidding process. The buyer is Notandas Realty.
What makes this deal special is its uniqueness there are very few sea-facing heritage homes like this in Mumbai. Because of this, there are no clear price comparisons, making it one of the most exclusive property deals in the city.
