Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath assured us to take the required steps regarding a delay in the registry of the completed projects.
Approximately 2.5 lakh registries have been pending for over a decade. So, looking at these issues, officials approached for an appointment of a Nodal Officer from the administration. The Nodal Officer is an intermediary between the officials, residents and real estate builders.
On Sunday (25th June), officials from the Noida Federation of Apartment Owners Associations (NOFAA), New Era Flat Owners Welfare Association (NEFOWA) and Federation of Noida and Greater Noida Apartment Owners Association held a meeting with the Chief Minister on the GBU campus regarding the delay in registries.
The officials asked to take strict action against the real estate builders because of the delay in the registry of the completed projects. Looking into the matter and listening to all the complaints, the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, has assured them that he will take every necessary action.
President of the Noida Federation of Apartment Owners Associations (NOFAA), Rajiva Singh, stated, "We met the CM briefly at GBU and submitted our petition on builder-related issues. We said we need speedy solutions on pending registries and suggested appointing a nodal officer to facilitate the process,"
Rajesh Sahay, the secretary general of the Noida Federation of Apartment Owners Associations, stated, "We told the CM that homebuyers have long paid all applicable charges but do not have possession of their homes because the builder owes dues and penalties to the authorities. It's urgent to reach a middle path with long-term strategies."
Officials have also proposed a one-time relief to the real estate builders to speed up the registries for more than 50,000 properties.
