Premium on transfer of slum flat to dip to Rs 50,000

The state government has decided to reduce the premium for transfer of a slum redevelopment flat from Rs 1 lakh to Rs 50,000, said deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis who also holds the housing portfolio.The premium is to be paid to the housing society.

"MHADA aaplya Daari (MHADA at your doorstep), this campaign will be launched shortly for expediting the Deemed Conveyance process," he said.

Fadnavis, while speaking at a seminar on self-redevelopment, said it would be mandatory for builders to pay one year rent in advance.
