Preity Zinta's Rs 17 crore apartment in Mumbai's Pali Hill is redefining luxury living in the heart of Bollywood.
Famous actress and businesswoman Preity Zinta bought an incredible apartment in Mumbai's fancy Pali Hill area. This place is part of a super-luxury building called Rustomjee Parishram in Mumbai's plush Pali Hilal area in the Bandra suburb.
The apartment is 1,721 square feet big. Preity shelled out over Rs. 17 crore to make it her new home. The apartment value is over Rs. 1.15 lakh for every square foot. Besides the huge space, she gets another 90 square feet and two parking spots.
The deal for this place was finalised recently, and Preity also had to pay over Rs. 85 lakh as a tax to make it official. She bought it directly from the builder, Rustomjee Group's company, Keystone Realtors.
The building is under construction and has 22 floors, with 17 of them meant for people to live in. She is not the only star in town who bought the apartment here. Dinesh Vijan, a big-time Bollywood movie maker, also got one in the same building. His apartment is huge, nearly 7,800 square feet, costing him almost Rs. 103 crore.
It's not just Bollywood stars making headlines in this area. Many rich and powerful individuals, not just from the movie world, call Bandra and Juhu home.
In fact, a lot of celebs like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Hrithik Roshan, Rani Mukherjee, Kartik Aryan, Alia Bhat, and Disha Patani have all been making waves in the property market here. Even beyond Bollywood, the Mumbai real estate market is hot. Siddharth Jain, part of the INOX Group (they run movie theatres), bought a fantastic sea-view apartment for a huge Rs. 144 crore.
