A smart, industrial, and residential hub is coming to Pithampur sector-7 in Indore to make lives better and brighter.
Madhya Pradesh Industrial Development Corporation (MPIDC) is set to transform Pithampur Sector-7, Indore. The project aspires to create an intelligent industrial, residential township spanning over 2,200 hectares across 12 villages.
The Executive Director of MPIDC, Pratul Sinha, shared the three-phase development strategy, and 2,232 hectares of land have been marked. As of now, they have already initiated the acquisition process for 1,268 hectares of privately owned land. The remaining portion comprises government and forest land, with the takeover process underway.
The project is anticipated to be finished within two to three years. Out of the huge expanse, 800 hectares are reserved for industrial setups, promising a hub for economic activity. The remaining land will be used for constructing residential colonies, including apartments, designed to accommodate the working and local population.
To support this project, MPIDC has disbursed approximately Rs. 80 crore as compensation to private landowners, who will receive plots valued at Rs. 320 crore, as per their eligibility.
The project is a tremendous effort, covering 12 villages in the Indore district adjacent to Betma tehsil. This industrial, residential township will have all the facilities to meet industrial and residential needs.
