The much-awaited results of the MHADA lottery were announced, which declared BJP MLA Narayan Kuche the winner of the costliest property.
On 24th August 2023, Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) declared the online lottery results, where approximately 4,082 properties were on sale, and many renowned people came forward to participate in this lottery.
The Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Eknath Shinde, announced the final results for everyone participating in the lottery. BJP MLA Narayan Kuche won the most costlier flat, which is worth Rs 7.57 crore, in the lottery. Furthermore, the youngest winner was 26 years old, Rohit Patel, a banker by profession.
Narayan Kuche said, "I had applied for the house because I do not own a house anywhere yet. Hence, I decided to purchase via the MHADA lottery 2023 in Mumbai. I will be applying for a home loan and purchasing the apartment."
Most properties in the lottery were affordable, having a price between R. 24 lakh to Rs 7.57 crore. The property won by Narayan Kuche in the lottery is located in Tardeo, South Mumbai. Among the 4,082 properties, approximately 2,700 are for the EWS group, 1,000 for LIG, 130 for MIG and 120 for HIG.
