Meerut takes a bold step with the ILDNS, a tech-driven solution by UPECL to combat illegal land use, using the 13 pivotal processes.
To combat illegal land use in Meerut, the Uttar Pradesh Electronics Corporation Limited (UPECL) is crafting an Illegal Land Use Detection Notification System (ILDNS). This system, developed for the Meerut Development Authority, aims to streamline and fortify urban management.
UPECL has initiated the process by inviting proposals from software companies to spearhead the development of ILDNS. Once implemented, it will provide a unified digital platform, serving as a nexus between administration and citizens.
The ILDNS is poised to revolutionise 13 key processes. From an engaged user management system to online and offline registration under the property management system, the system covers a huge spectrum of functionalities. Notably, it facilitates lottery draws, e-auctions, and even generates checklists for deposit amounts.
Moreover, ILDNS plays a pivotal role in enhancing personal information systems, parole systems, and finance management systems. Under the planning section, the portal facilitates the creation of site plans and layouts, and compiles data for FDR tracking and land use reports necessary for issuing No Objection Certificates (NOCs).
This innovative system doesn't stop there; it also incorporates document management and grievance management systems to ensure a comprehensive approach.
