Kansai Nerolac Paint's profit jumps more than 4 times to Rs 96.24 crore in Q4 FY2

On Monday, Kansai Nerolac Paints Limited (KNPL) reported a 402 percent jump in its consolidated net profit in the fourth quarter (Q4) ended March 31, 2023, at Rs 96.24 crore as against the consolidated net profit of Rs 19.17 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal, it said in a regulatory filing.

The company's revenue from operations grew 12.8 percent at Rs 1,733.59 crore in the same period of the last fiscal.

Its total expenses also rose to Rs 1,618.08 crore in Q4 FY23 compared to Rs Rs 1,503.54 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal, as per the BSE filing.

Anuj Jain, managing director of the company said, "During the quarter all businesses have done well. Though raw material prices have softened, for the year, inflation is still positive."
