The Himachal Pradesh Government is developing a fully automated online system that scrutinises building plans and will permit permission for construction.
The Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh, Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu, said they will launch an automated online system for building plans. This system will inspect the building plans and then grant permission for construction.
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu said, "A fully automated online building permission system is being developed to enable real-time scrutiny of building drawings through auto scrutiny features, ensuring efficiency and accuracy in the approval process".
The Government of Himachal Pradesh and the Department of Digital Technology and Governance is developing this online system. The plan will benefit all 61 Urban local bodies, 35 notified Special Area Development Authority and 56 planning areas in Himachal Pradesh.
Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu also said that this online platform will calculate and collect property taxes in Urban Local Bodies. Apart from this, he plans to make other services online, such as paying bills, notices, and all kinds of No Objection Certificates (NOCs). It will help in making the state free from any corruption.
