Haryana Government refunds Rs. 5.19 crore in development fees to 1,588 property owners. Seamless process via NDC portal.
The Haryana Government has decided to refund development fees of Rs. 5.19 crore to 1,588 property owners. This decision came from the government's realisation that certain property owners had erroneously paid development charges on properties that were not applicable.
Addressing the development on Monday, the Urban Local Bodies Department spokesperson revealed that approximately 1,588 properties were identified for the refund. These properties encompassed various categories, including HSVP, HSIIDC, licensed colonies, CLU-acquired properties, Lal-Dora residential properties, and agricultural properties.
To ensure a smooth reimbursement process, the department has communicated details of the affected properties to the relevant municipalities. Property owners have been notified through SMS, urging them to initiate their refund application via the NDC portal.
A fund of Rs. 5.19 crore has been allocated, and property owners are encouraged to visit https://ulbhryndc.org. Providing their details on the portal facilitates the department's efficient processing of their refund applications.
51 property holders have already submitted their applications on the NDC portal. The spokesperson emphasised that trained personnel are diligently working to expedite the return of development fees to eligible property holders.
