Technopark pioneers a 50,000 sq. ft. prefab marvel in Phase 1, embracing innovation for a dynamic corporate landscape.
Inspired by the success of the Taurus Downtown project, Technopark authorities are gearing up to introduce a prefabricated office facility at their main campus in Phase 1. Envisioned as a 50,000 sq. ft. marvel, this innovative workspace redefines the conventional office setup.
The impending issuance of tenders marks a significant step towards materialising this project. Col Sanjeev Nair (Retd), CEO of Park Centre, Technopark, expressed enthusiasm about the prefab concept, emphasising its adaptability for parking companies and the potential to alleviate the strain on queue systems.
The tender process will determine the number of seats within the facility and unveil the names of companies that will find a home in this cutting-edge space. With a projected completion timeline of one year, the Technopark prefab initiative aligns with the broader strategy to optimise the marketability of available spaces across its various phases.
As of November 27, recent statistics reveal a huge demand, with 164 companies seeking IT built-up spaces ranging from 500 to 35,000 sq. ft. at Technopark Phase-3. Simultaneously, 103 companies have shown interest in smart business centre facilities within the same phase. The dynamic growth trajectory is indicative of a thriving ecosystem.
A notable precedent for this futuristic endeavour is the Keystone prefabricated office incubation facility launched in 2021 as part of Embassy Taurus Techzone (ETTZ) at Downtown Trivandrum. Spanning 62,500 sq. ft. across two floors, Keystone boasts 800 seats in a complete plug-and-play format, catering to the evolving needs of modern businesses.
