The CIDCO International Corporate Park Kharghar project has moved a step forward after the City and Industrial Development Corporation of Maharashtra invited bids for its development in Kharghar. The proposed business district is planned as a large commercial hub in Navi Mumbai.
The proposed park will spread across more than 100 acres and is part of a larger 155-hectare land bank identified by CIDCO for a long-term commercial district. The vision is to create a business hub similar to Bandra Kurla Complex, widely regarded as India’s most expensive commercial office district.
Planners expect the project to attract large corporations, financial institutions, and global firms looking for modern office spaces outside Mumbai’s crowded core. Mixed-use developments, commercial complexes, and supporting urban infrastructure are also part of the blueprint.
The International Corporate Park will be developed in phases over the next two decades. As the project progresses, it could strengthen Navi Mumbai’s role as a satellite city and create a new commercial corridor that complements Mumbai’s existing financial districts.
If executed as planned, the CIDCO International Corporate Park Kharghar could strengthen Navi Mumbai’s position as a major commercial destination and reshape the region’s business landscape.
