Approximately 1.7 Lakh Users Registered for 1,200 Plots Near Noida Airport

Around three weeks ago, Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) launched a scheme for allotting plots near Noida International Airport.

After the launching of the scheme, till Wednesday (31 August 2023), there were around 1.73 lakh registrations on the portal who have registered for an offer of just 1,184 plots. The users purchased around 1.23 lakh online forms, and 1.1 lakh of them were finally submitted.

The residential plots to be allotted by Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority range from approximately 120-2,000 square metres in sectors 16,17 and 20.

CEO of YEIDA, Arun Vir Singh, said," The response has been overwhelming for the residential plot scheme this time. This is the first time that YEIDA has received so many applications. People are quite enthusiastic about it".

Officials of YEIDA also said that the plots costing Rs. 24,600 per sq. m. will be allotted on 18 October, and those who have paid the earnest amount for plots will be given more preferences. Officials also said that it is not only the airport but also several other infrastructures linked to it, and these all have attracted many investors and buyers.
