Abhishek Bachchan has sold his luxury duplex apartment in Mumbai’s Mahalaxmi for ₹14.5 crore, according to property registration records. The residence spans 2,249 sq ft of carpet area and was transacted at a rate of ₹64,473 per sq ft.
The buyers are Rishi Mandawat, a partner at Bain Capital Private Equity, and Smita Mehta. The transaction was officially registered on February 12, 2026.
Located within Godrej Planet, the duplex occupies the 40th and 41st floors of Tower 4, also known as Strata. The deal includes three dedicated car parking spaces.
Godrej Planet is a premium residential development comprising over 300 apartments across five towers, offering configurations of 2, 3, and 5 BHK units. The project is known for its high-rise skyline presence and proximity to South Mumbai’s commercial and cultural districts.
