53 occupants get notice to prove ownership

The Indore district administration has served notice to as many as 53 occupants of land situated near Patnipura Square to prove their ownership as MP State Road Transport Corporation (MPSRTC) has made its claim over the property worth crores of rupees while the same has been listed on the Public Assets Management (PAM) Portal to auction it.

"There are around 53 commercial and residential structures situated on around 3 lakh square feet land situated in Gram Khajrani near Patnipura Square," tehsildar Shekhar Choudhary said, adding that the occupants have been asked to submit proof of their ownership in the next hearing scheduled on June 5.

"On the occupants failing to prove their ownership of said land, the process of vacating them will be taken up," he said.
